AFTER SCHOOL ARTS CLUB - LANGHOLM PRIMARY
OutPost Arts facilitated 2 blocks of weekly after school art clubs at Langholm Primary School, delivered by our experienced associate artists who specialise in working with primary level children. Special guest artists and tutors visited the OPA Art Clubs, delivering a variety of workshops and meeting a wide range of creative practitioners; broadening their knowledge and interest in the creative and expressive arts. Through attending the clubs, participants have tried their hands at a wide range of art forms including STEAM workshops, vocal development, improvisation, character design, collage compositions, poetry/creative writing, ceramics, print-making, drawing and painting.
P5-7 Visual Art & Performance Clubs achieved an EXPLORE Arts Award during art club sessions, consolidating their learning to gain an accredited qualification.
