ADVENTURES IN PHOTOGRAPHY
In partnership with The Muckletoon Adventure Festival 2019, in order to promote health & well-being via 'creative exploration', OutPost Arts facilitated a six week ‘Adventures in Photography’ short course led by For Enjoyment CIC.
Participants are building skills by focusing on different aspects of photography each week, with the focus firmly on the enjoyment and health/well-being benefits of taking part in outdoor creative activity. The course ended in an exhibition as part of the MTAF weekend programme from June 14-16th at the Old Post Office on Langholm High Street, celebrating the wonderful work of all participants and sharing their progress with the community and festival visitors. The exhibition was also a destination on the 'Discovering Langholm' artventure trail completed by young people and their families over the weekend; earning an arts award along the way!
